Tangos Restaurant: Your Destination for American Comfort Food in Southfield

Very good dinner meal at Tango’s at the Westin in Southfield, MI. The food ( salads, shrimp fettuccine, and cheesecake) was just what we needed after a day of touring. Our server Sabra did an excellent job . . . all selections came out as ordered and at the same time. She kept checking with us to make sure things were good, but yet didn’t overdo.

Great cowboy steak, thank you guys so much!! Huge shout out to Nala!! She takes care of us everytime we come in. Always checks in, makes sure we have silverware, always refills our water. She's amazing!! Thanks again!!

Solid comfort food, good variety on the menu and a bit expensive given they cater to the hotel staying crowd. Very professional service, Kind and attentive team at the restaurant at dinner and breakfast. Can’t really go wrong but do not expect surprises.

Everything about our visit was amazing. The food was flavorful and beautifully presented, the service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was simply gorgeous. It all came together for a perfect dining experience that we’ll definitely remember.

Sabra and Felix were our servers. We ordered room service and it was delivered quickly! Sabra was SO friendly as usual!

Excellent service, good food. After visiting this restaurant multiple times, since it is in the area, I am pleased to say that it is a worthwhile place to eat. Sam and Jake have done an excellent job with their service, as well as another lady whose name I will have to procure. The food is good and the service is excellent. The prices are, unfortunately, astronomical and unwarranted; but, if you decide to pay, then you will have a good meal. Recommendations: Bread Pudding Bites, Grilled Romaine Salad, Ahi Tuna Tacos. Everything listed above is priced far above reasonableness, but it's quite good. Although I don't like being price gouged,it's fine for once-in-a-while. The service makes the high prices easier to swallow.

The hotel provided me with a complimentary gift card which I used for a drink at Tango's bar -- a mojito. For a free drink is was pretty good! Lots of people had PCs out and were working / socializing, so I moved into the restaurant for dinner. My waitress was nice enough, but it took a long time for my food to come out, and when it did, it was not very good. I think I will try my luck elsewhere next time. Update: The menu has been re-vamped, and the food and service are much improved since I was here last.
